I got a representative, but he said that they can't view the Victoria's Secret accounts and the only thing I can do is call that line that wants my social security number. I tried called the Comenity Bank customer service line too. Since they shouldn't have my SS number, since I never applied for this card, I didn't feel comfortable putting it in the phone system. I tried to call the Victoria's Secret credit card phone line, but the automated system would not let me speak to a representative without giving my social security number. The sticker on the card doesn't say "Call to activate", it says "Call before use to CONFIRM RECEIPT of your credit card" (Yes, in all caps). I've never even heard of this bank until I got this. I've also never had an amount with Comenity, the bank that this card is through. I never even had a non-credit rewards card with them. I haven't shopped at Victoria's Secret in months, and I have never had any account with them ever. I thought that it was one of those promotions to get you to sign up or something, but I looked closer and the card has my name, an account number, and all the works. Yesterday, I received a Victoria's Secret Angel credit card in the mail.
